Symptoms or Error
After installing the EdgeSight agent on XenApp Servers and Endpoints, the computers do not appear in the Devices section in the EdgeSight console. However, the department structure appears properly.
In addition, in the Server Status > Server Script Host section, the es_zqueue is stopped as shown in the following screen shot:

Although it is possible to start it manually, the application stops a few seconds later.


Solution
To resolve this issue, complete the following procedure:
  • On the EdgeSight Server, add the following file:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Citrix\System Monitoring\Server\RSSH\RSshApp.exe.config
  • Add the following content to the file:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?><configuration><runtime><generatePublisherEvidence enabled="false" /></runtime></configuration>



Problem Cause
The common language runtime (CLR) tries to verify the Authenticode signature at load time to create Publisher evidence for the assembly.
This issue occurs if the EdgeSight server has restricted access to the internet.
